‘White Powder’ Sent to Barack Obama’s D.C. Office

After a white powder was sent to Donald Trump, Jr.’s wife yesterday Feb. 12, Barack Obama’s D.C. office has reportedly been sent a similar substance.
The Secret Service is investigating after reports surfaced of powder being delivered to space Obama has leased since leaving the White House, according to D.C.’s Fox 5. D.C. Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Edward Smith told the station an envelope, which had no return address, arrived at the office from Hong Kong at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13.
No reports of evacuations or injuries came through. Meanwhile, local police and fire crews, the Secret Service and the FBI responded.
It isn’t clear if Obama, who resides in the nearby Kalorama neighborhood, was in the office when the package arrived.
The report follows Vanessa Trump, President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, was take to a New York hospital as a precaution when she opened an envelope that reportedly contained cornstarch.
