‘Love the Hair’: Quad Webb Shares a Throwback Pic, Fans Obsess Over Her Peekaboo Highlights

Written by on 06/28/2020

It’s no secret that Quad Webb has rocked many fabulous hairstyles over the years. Throughout her career, the nation has witnessed the “Married to Medicine” reality star change her signature dark brown hair to crimson waist-length locks. But in her latest Instagram post, the Bravo beauty made some fans do a double take.

Quad shared an old image that showed her modeling in what appeared to be her dining room. Donning a white long-sleeve shirt and a pair of denim shorts that were embellished with a dark blue design, the mother of one struck her pose by smizing at the camera. Quad accessorized her outfit with nude open-toe stilettos, sunglasses, and a light blue cross body handbag. Her black wavy hair was enhanced with purple peekaboo highlights.

The Tennessee native implied in her caption that she was searching for her shades. She wrote: “#flashbackfriday Damn I wish I could find these frames. Are you like me always losing your nice sunglasses 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️.”

While Quad was reminiscing on her fierce sunglasses, people were focusing on her tresses. One IG user gushed: “I love the hair!💚.” Another fan commented: “That hair is everything!!! You should do it again😍😍😍 subtle but cute.”

This isn’t the first time people have noticed Quad’s drastic hair transformation. The former “Sister Circle” talk show host rocked a half-up, half-down hairstyle in a promo shoot for season 7 of “M2M” last summer. When the images were released on Bravo’s social media pages, fans noticed that Quad’s hairline looked flawed.

Quad said in a 2019 interview with Hype Hair that the photos were “photo shopped,” explaining that she did not approve of the images before they were released. She claimed that the photos made her look as if she had “helmet hair” and implied that there is not enough diversity behind the scenes and at decision-making tables in the entertainment and beauty industries.

“I think it’s a quintessential mistake that a lot of Caucasian people make when they’re making decisions without understanding Black people, Black culture,” she stressed. “There was not a Black person in the room, and if so that would have never happened.”

At the time, Quad said she had reached out to the executives at Bravo to ensure that nothing like that ever happened to her or her cast mates again.
