There have been more misdemeanor charges added to Remy Ma‘s assault case from earlier this month after she was accused of punching fellow “Love & Hip-Hop” star Brittney Taylor.

TMZ reports the Bronx rapper has now been slapped with two counts of assault in the third degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, as well as one count of harassment in the second degree.

This is on top of the misdemeanor assault charge Remy received when she turned herself in to the NYPD on May 1.

In April, Taylor said that Remy punched her in the eye while they were backstage at the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza in New York City. It’s being said that Remy accuses Taylor of having inside information about a supposed assault on Remy’s stepdaughter Dejanae.

Shortly after the “Lean Back” writer turned herself in and was released on bond, her attorney Dawn Florio said Taylor is lying, as Remy was supposedly home at 9:30 p.m. when Taylor claimed the assault took place, and there’s surveillance footage to prove it.

But recently, Florio revealed that prosecutors have changed the time when they said the alleged incident occurred from 9:30 to 10:30. As of now, there’s no video to prove that Taylor was assaulted, however, there is footage of Remy showing up at the venue around 10:30.

TMZ further reports that after the new charges were added the “Shether” rhymer was offered a deal where she could plead guilty to the assault in the third degree charge only and have everything else dropped.

She’d also have to enroll in anger management classes, but she has yet to take the deal. The next court date for Remy will be in July to deal with all this.

Earlier this month, the rapper’s publicist Ernest Dukes said Taylor was merely looking for a payday and blasted her for allegedly talking about the incident on social media before she spoke to police. Fat Joe also defended Remy and accused Taylor of making the whole thing up.

Remy is currently on parole after being released from prison in 2014 for shooting her former friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in a dispute over money.
